Action Log: the part of DIGI CLIP that turns failed checks, incidents, hazards and quality issues into tracked corrective actions. Each action is assigned, followed up and closed out with a digital audit trail.

Inspections. Actions. Evidence.

Find it. Fix it. Prove it.

DIGI CLIP's Action Log puts every corrective action from your Forms, Incidents, Hazards and Quality reports in one place. Each one gets an owner, a due date and a record you can show an auditor.

How the Action Log works

Paper and spreadsheets are fine for recording a problem. Where they fall down is making sure someone fixes it. The Action Log covers the whole job, from the failed check to the verified close-out.

Find it

Every issue becomes an action

A failed item on a pre-start or inspection form raises an action automatically. So does a reported incident, hazard or quality issue. Each action links back to its source, so View source opens the original report with its photos and notes. Nobody has to retype anything.

If someone spots a problem outside a form, they can log it on the spot with Add Action.

Fix it

The right person, a clear deadline

Assign each action to someone, then set a priority (Urgent, Medium, Low or Routine) and a due date. The Action Log does the chasing:

  • Admin required still needs an owner or due date
  • Due today Due in 8 days shows what's coming up
  • Overdue is flagged red and escalated by email alert

Filter by status, assignee or date to see what's open across every site.

Prove it

Evidence that stands up

Record the fix on a close-out verification form, attach supporting documents, and mark the action Implemented.

Need a second check? With two-step close-out, one person records who did the work and when, then a second person verifies it and closes the action out.

Every action keeps its full history: who found it, who fixed it, who closed it out and when. When an auditor, client or CoR investigator asks, Export the log and hand it over.

One log for every action

Everything that needs fixing ends up in the same place, whichever form or report it came from.

SourceExample
FormsAn excavator pre-start fails the handrail check
IncidentsA near miss between a forklift and a pedestrian at the loading dock
HazardsA missing guard reported on a conveyor drive belt
QualityA coolroom reads above 5°C at the 6am check

Most actions start with a vehicle check. Pair the Action Log with a solid truck pre-start checklist or light vehicle pre-start checklist, and defects go straight to the person who fixes them.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Action Log used for?

It records every corrective action raised from your forms, incidents, hazards and quality reports, and tracks each one until it's fixed and closed out.

Are actions created automatically?

Yes. When an item fails on a DIGI CLIP form, an action is raised automatically. You can also add actions manually with Add Action.

Can I assign actions to staff?

Yes. Assign each action to a person, set a priority and due date, and overdue actions trigger email alerts so nothing slips.

Does it work across multiple sites?

Yes. Each action records its location, and you can filter the log to see what's open at every depot, yard or site.

How does it help with audits?

Every action has a time-stamped history showing who raised it, who fixed it, who closed it out and when, with the original report and supporting documents attached. Export the log whenever an auditor or client asks.

Can a second person verify the fix?

Yes. Turn on two-step close-out and an action must be implemented, then closed out, before it's done. If the person closing it out isn't the person who did the work, DIGI CLIP asks them to confirm first.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. DIGI CLIP has a 14-day free trial, with no credit card needed.
